Acrobatic Arts - We have returned our acro arts program by demand, Acro-Dance, or acro as it is commonly referred to by dancers and dance professionals, is the beautiful fusion of classic dance technique and the precision and athleticism of acrobatic elements.

Often defined by unique choreography, acro dancers seamlessly blend musicality, emotional expression, line and extension with acrobatic movements in a dance context.

Acro is an especially challenging style for dancers to master as training in both dance and acrobatic elements is required. Acro technique includes balancing, limbering, tumbling and partnering, based on flexibility, contortion and strength.

Classes are based on your classical ballet / Jazz Grade level. Run by Megan Barkham and Fiona Richardson and assisted by Emily Osborne

The techniques differ from that of Gymnastics so we do not advise taking gymnastic classes the same time unless the child is advanced in understanding the difference in the techniques as one is for hard floor landing and one is for Mats and sprung floors.

This class is fun and exciting and is very popular to all children of all ages as they get to dance and perform tricks.
Due to the nature of the dance elements this class must be taken along with a Ballet or Jazz class.


Uniform: Black leotard and black shorts, bare feet, hair tied up preferably in french plaits and no jewellery

This class is covered by a regular payment every month.

Subscription payments are taken on the first of every month in advance of lessons and spread equally over 12 months. This price takes into account scheduled holidays.
