Ballet is a graceful and structured dance form which also provides the basic foundation for many other kinds of dance.

It improves posture, develops poise and coordination and the refined quality and control of the body achieved through the discipline of ballet technique. Expressive quality of movement is achieved as well as body toning and muscle development and above all enjoyment.

Please bare in mind exam fees for those of you wishing to take them will be due in April 2025. They range from £40 to £120

Uniform: Black Leotard, Pink Tights, Pink Split Sole Ballet Shoes and Black cardigan. Hair in a bun.

The Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing is one of the world's great International Dance Societies proudly serving dance for over 80 years. 2013 marked the 80th Anniversary of the Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing (CSTD).


Exams are held once a year with an examiner from Australia.


This class is covered by a regular payment every month.

Subscription payments are taken on the first of every month in advance of lessons and spread equally over 12 months. This price takes into account scheduled holidays.


Parents booking more than 2 hours a week will receive discounts that will be applied by the office once booking.
